Comment: I love the 20q game.....so when i saw this i had to get it.......1st off...the thing looks pretty cool...2nd.....this version seems more advanced & updated, as it has asked new questions....such as......"is it an esoteric concept?"....maybe it's data base has been expanded....this is a great game for friends & family as it forces you to think....which is a good thing....the floating info display is pretty neat & easy to read....but you know what would really make this game awesome?.....a remote.....& a synthisized voice that asks the questions.....now that would rock!....anyways.....as the game is....it is very fun.....& i recommend it to all, as the experience of having it guess correctly when it seems there is no way it could possibly get it right based on the questions asked..... makes it worth the price of admission.....two thumbs up!

Summary: 2000 Challenge, Best bet for 2008
Comment: Excellent, excellent device. You will be amazed at the answers it comes up with. It cannot identify people but it is absolutely uncanny at correctly guessing things, especially in light of the questions it ask.

Comment: 20Q is a great game because the player has to be creative. Kids love to stump the game with hard to figure out answers to the riddle. The game is also easy to store because it is light weight and does not require the use of multiple game pieces.

Summary: Fun gets even BIGGER in this version!!
Comment: This game is a blast! We got this big boy after having so much fun with the original handheld. Designed for tabletop play, it's about 8 inches around and feels pretty sturdy when held. The domed display makes it easy for all to read without having to get up out of chairs or pick it up off the table. There are a two additional response buttons that aren't in the original 20Q: rarely and undo. Also different from the original is the option of playing with or without sound. An on/off switch is underneath, and the instructions warn that the game could become "unresponsive" if it's left on for extended periods of time. The lapse between questions is considerable, but tolerable. The red lines that appear in between questions have a tendency to flicker ever so slightly, enough to be a bit annoying or hard on the eyes for some.
Don't think too deeply about the answers you supply. The machine doesn't delve too deeply into possibilities and doesn't count on you to, either. For example, I was thinking of "wallpaper". 20Q asked, "Is it flexible?" My first impulse was to select "no" but then I started philosophizing about it (hey, wallpaper is flexible before you apply it, after all). My kids told me to stop thinking about it so much ("Mom! The wallpaper in the kitchen is NOT flexible!") and just push the NO button!!
Go ahead, try outsmarting it! About 75-80% of the time it's EXACTLY correct! Otherwise, it's "pretty close, though not exactly correct" and (once in a while) it totally misses the boat, which can be really hilarious!
20Q is fun for the whole family. It doesn't have to stay at home, either. Take it along on vacation, out to dinner, the doctor's office - it's guaranteed to please. We all love 20Q - both this (tabletop version) and the hand held original - but my husband is by far the game's biggest fan!

Comment: This is such an amazing game - you cannot believe how many times that this toy can guess what you are thinking! Our family loves this game so much that we have bought several for presents for Christmas, birthdays, and even as a thank you gift. You can never tire of playing!
